mikeball 108
There must be something out there like a gprs system or something?? There's app for phones that tell you how fast your walking/running, distance traveled, top speed and average speed. I've got a app called sports tracker for when I go jogging and cycling with my dogs. Sure the same principal could be used on a collar?? Atb Quote Link to post

bryanm45 787
Also on the same track two young (18mth) racing bred greys did 250mts in 15secs which most was a bend and that's 37.2mph and my whip did same dist in 17.5secs which is 31.9mph these dogs are running on sand so the ground they are running on will affect the speed the dog can run, size and stamina, live quarry all will play a part, which means it would be very difficult to say which breed or dog was faster unless you run them together on same ground on same set of circumstances, even then you may have a working dog that would go faster on live quarry, jmo. chartpolski 24,134
What would be the average speed of a dog be if it completed 247m in 15.15? I'm hopeless at maths and was hoping someone could help me out? Thanks http://www.machinehe..._time_calc.html around 36mph This is the little guy who can run approx. 36mph, Chartpolski may recognise him? Yep ! Sure do; and I think he only weighs around 28/30 lb ? Cheers. Quote Link to post
