roebuck220 80
I would complain if my next door neighbours dog was barking....... and if it was mine id soon shut him the hell up! Couldn't of put it better myself, used to live next door to a c**t whose dog barked all day and most of the night, sorted it out myself though without reporting anybody. j j m 6,539
There's nothing worse if a dog is barking all the time, the council don't have to record it from his house any where near your property will do and no they don't need to inform you

Guest thebigdog
if the council come round, get out in the garden in you drawers, get on all fours, cover yourself in peanut butter and start barking. they'll think your a mentalist and never bother you again
MikeyMJL 128
I'm sure it's his cats that set him off during the day, the cheeky feckers even try coming into our house if the downstairs windows are open.
stabba 10,745
If you keep dogs..then imo it pays to keep the neighbours on side

neems 2,406
I'm sure it's his cats that set him off during the day, the cheeky feckers even try coming into our house if the downstairs windows are open. and it's those cats causing the problem? if they were to move to the other end of the country would the problem be solved? taffy apple 32
the answer to your question buddy is thus...they do have to notify you that you will be monitored, but do not have to specify when or it would be pointless monitoring you.if there are other properties in your area ie neighbours , a good argument would be how can they be certain that the recordings are from your dogs and not someone elses...also there is nothing to say that your neighbour hasnt antagonised the dogs to get them to bark then recorded the noise...i know a lot of councils will only use evidence witnessed in person by a member of staff...hope this helps buddy.......now get out there and shut the f8ckers up... neil82 1,080
if you have a complaint against you for your dog barking then you need a decent counter complaint, get yours in by lodging a complaint in writing that your neighbours cats are in your garden disturbing your dog and driving it nuts, fight fire with fire pal, only thing is the other fu**er has put his complaint in first, so gather any evidence you can, borrow a vidio cam and tape them going into your garden, pissing on your lawn, anything that you could use as a complaint against him, other than that, have you bought some anti-freeze to make sure your cars coolant system is safe for winter
simonrocco 175
you can go ahead and get your dog monitered yourself thats what i did when 2 seperate neighbours where complaining every week to the council about my dogs and it came back that my dogs werent a problem because they werent continously barking they did bark but not like the neighbours were saying. if you dont think your dog is a problem and its just your neighbour being a tit then contact your local enviromental warden to get your dog monitered then they shouldnt have to moniter from your neighbours house the warden that monitered my dogs did it from sitting on the road round the back of my house in her car. atb pal
