MikeyMJL 128
Hey guys. I've received a complaint to the council from my neighbours (we f*****g hate each other) about my dog barking. My specific question is if the council are going to record us from the neighbours house, do they have to notify us before they do?

MikeyMJL 128
I was just thinking from invasion of privacy point of view, walls aren't exactly thick and they might pick up our naughty conversations! To be fair I don't know what the specific complaint is. They have complained before about him barking at night, only happened when we went out on the lash and left him home. He was waking their kids. Now I leave him round my folks house if we go out for the night. I spoke to the council and he was fine with this so I thought it was sorted. Feck knows what this complaint is about, surely they can't do much about him barking between 9 - 5?

MikeyMJL 128
I recorded him in the day for 2 weeks after the first complaint. He would probably have 3 or 4 bursts of barking but he was growling as well. I've got a feeling his 4 cats are going in my garden and making home bark. Video evidence me thinks! martyn2233 2,593
They can make you get rid of the dog if its barking none stop or advise on training ie coller spray type just had the same done to me when they came dogs did as told then told them where to go no more complaints since
MikeyMJL 128
He definitely doesn't bark non stop. Hes 9 years old and I walk him an hour before work at a fast pace up hills etc and give him a good feed. I can't record him at the moment because my laptop is broke. neems 2,406
Just get a little bit of dirt on your neighbor,my lurcher got out (while i was working away) and killed my neighbors cat and a couple of their rabbits and guinea pigs, the woman came round and ended up hitting my then pregnant bird. When i came back the neighbor ran straight for me saying she'd call the environmental health, council and police. I said good, while they're here i'll tell them about you assaulting a pregnant woman, I also asked her from a few metres away how many fingers i was holding up and if she was still near blind but still driving. she ran off crying and we've heard no more, and these are people who'll report you to the council for putting your bin bags out too early in the day or the police for playing music too loud on new years eve. Rake aboot 4,935
Maybe try and stop the dog barking first. Try spray collar. They don`t need to inform you, because they won`t be recording you. They will only use a noise meter to measure how loud the barking is and for how long.

albert64 1,882
me personaly i feckin hate dogs barking, unless its for a reason now you and only you knows wether your dogs a barker/howler and if your a bloke that thinks f**k the neighbours well you might just find the neighbours can also f**k you its obviously gone past the talking stage, if they've already involved the council before and they can and will use anything possible against you
