bird 9,973
it showed the fox being run the length of the field, with the hounds not far behind . and i think they got it at the end of the vid, ! they prob thought only lurcher+ terrier men get (done) for enjoying there sport since the ban, and not them . alimac 882
In the bigger picture I honestly think the case has done the RSPCA more harm than it has to hunting.. £ 300 + k , that would have kept & fed a awfull lot of rescue cases that will now carry on being put down because the charity can't afford to keep them.. skycat 6,173
It's always been about the money, with the welfare of animals coming far behind. I know its not the same subject, but a well known animal rescue once put down an entire litter of lurcher pups while they spent a fortune on a 13 year old Yorkshire Terrier: cataracts, dodgy legs: because they knew they could rehome it to some old dear who would leave them a fortune in her will. And besides, lurcher pups attract the 'wrong' sort of homes, and they'd sooner put a healthy dog down than let it go to a working home. :censored:
chartpolski 24,495
The RSPCA spent £330,000 of DONATED money making this prosecution !!! They only recouped £15,000 that the defendants had to pay !! Even the Judge was appalled at the waste of a CHARITIE'S money !! I hope everyone who has ever donated to these people are aware of this, and the top people in the RSPCA getting six figure salaries !! Cheers.
