Ipads are about 3oo quid yet the kindle fire is alot less, are they the same and will i get away with the cheaper one without getting 12 months of sulking? I cant see any difference in what they do, she wont want to down load a pile of films, prob just facebook, ebay etc. so dont need loads of memory. Guest scramble Posted December 17, 2012 Report Share Posted December 17, 2012 I wouldn't go for the Nexus, its had many problems with software. you'd be better off with an ipad. if you could wait untill next summer the updates for the nexus will be sorted and that could be the better option in the long run???. The good thing about apple products are they are so cheap and easy to fix if something goes wrong, ie cracked digitizer screen. there are loads of after market spares available. go with another company and you'll be paying for genuine replacement parts at 3 times the cost.
