RubyTex 1,957
RIP thoughts with his family. How did that come about, freak wave what he didnt expect? beach fisherman are not usually that close From what i've read on the fishing forums it was a father and son, father went to cross the stream without realising how strong the current was and got swept off his feet. Before anything could be done he was away got picked up by the Sea King half a mile out but there was no chance. Be careful out there lads. As for my other post that lad on Roker Pier broke his leg not his back, when a wave came up and smashed him against some railings. Respect the sea!!
