John Nolan 0
Ken Roebuck's book, "Training Spaniels", is invaluable. Jim Spencer's book"Training Spaniels the American Way" is good too if you buy into using some non-slip retriever training methods with spaniels. He's been successful and presents some good alternate thinking. Use both, but Roebuck is still tops. I'd also recommend Joan Bailey's book on training. It presents a different slant and makes you realize that no matter how good the training, there is a team aspect to effective gunning and we're part of the team. Quote Link to post
