Mawders 595
How can more mag be a bad thing? Just remember milldots won't be the same from 9x to 16x mag. But you probably knew that already. Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Ive got a 4-16x44 mamba lite on my 97kt. For shooting paper targets at 35 yds 9x is ok but with my crap eyesight instead of having to walk to the target i can just zoom to 16x to see the pellet holes 2 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
From what I know of Richter Optik scopes they aren't a bad deal for the money. I can't think of any reason why the stated 4-16x50 spec shouldn't be fine for you Symon. For my HW97KT I have a HAWKE PANORAMA 4-12X50 EV AO/IR scope and it is a lovely scope for the rifle. Si Pittaway has the same scope for his and both perform superbly well on these rifles. Cannot see why you'll have suitability problems with the Richter, unless some quality issue emerges. silentshot1 206
I have a Richter 3 - 9 X 40 on my HW 77 and have to say I'm pretty impressed with it. Only bought it as a back up but the glass at low light levels is impressive for the price. I was also given a Richter 3 - 9 X 50 ao and the quality isn't as strong to be honest, but for the money at air rifle range, you can't go far wrong. Quote Link to post

barrywhite 282
does the scope have object lens adjustment .if it doesnt that can be a bit of a pain focusing clearly on things close [10m ]. Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Seems like you'll be fine to hunt with this scope Symon. 4-16 is a very good hunting mag range and a 50mm objective lens will give you some decent light gathering capabilty. I can't see any problems here mate. All the best with it. Simon. Quote Link to post
AR177 588
Just because it can go to 16 dosnt mean you need to shoot on 16mag mate, its just a handy thing to have on there if needed - I have a 4-16 viper and a 5.5-25 Falcon and I dont really shoot past 12 Mag.. and even thats a little high - but its nice to have if I need it for paper work ATB Adam 1 Quote Link to post
