Hi darkdd. Thanks for pointing this out.

 

Well, he's changed his looks quite a bit more than I expected. You're right, he did a lot of ads for Simmons back then "The Prohunter" he was known by. I didn't realise he was on the board of Simmons UK .And Fred Carter too, I remember he produced his own DVDs but I never bought any. Amazing how people's lives can change and turn over a decade.

subscription is over now!

i only subscribe when i am at the game fares,you tend to get a item thrown in to :thumbs: and a good subscription discount.

 

but lets not forget there are some good tips on servicing your air rifles,and strip downs too,i am on about Airgun shooter mag,not the others,they have far to many ads in,and not enough to have a good read,i have picked up some good tips from Lyn Lewington :thumbs:

I stopped buying Airgun Mag's After J.D. Stopped writing for them, Remember Richard North and Fred Carter,

But J.D. Was the one i looked for and learnt alot from Him and My Grandad Who was a Country Boy and Worked for

the Forestry Commission after the 2nd world War.

J.D was also one of the Best Bass Fishermen as well and wrote alot about fishing.

I would have loved to have met J.D. He's My all Time Airgun Legend, Learnt alot from Him and My Grandad :yes:

He was so down to Earth and a Nice Chap as well, Because of Him i promised My self i'll own a Rapid one Day,

Now i have 2 :laugh: :laugh: ;)
