my first tree rats

hi all not been on here for a while but wanted to post my first tree rat kill,great day as well sun outs but cold,i went out for the woodys realy but they was sharing the same trees as the tree rats and seeing as i have shot woodys before i decided to go for the tree rats and they was alot harder than i thought there so quick and they hide realy well the first one was a pain it had gone the other side if the tree trunk so i could not see the little ,so i jumped the dyke to get to where i could get a better view and fell in, all the water went down my wellies it was freezing so went back to my car to ring me socks out and put my boots on,i was going home, but i was out for getting the little that caused me to fall in he was still there chopping on berries looking at me not for long took my shot and he fell out the tree :boogy:my feet had warmed up abit now so went on to the next field that have just got more permision for which runs round my permision thank you mr farmer and got my second tree rat this was right at the top of this tree and had a clear head shot no dyke to jump thank god,even though i got wet i had a great fun day

You can't beat a bit of squirrel bashing, my fav type of vermin to hunt! As you can see they are a good challenge of field craft skills.

Just a little hint though......

 

You dont use washing up liquid, Mr Muscle or furnature polish to clean them :laugh:

 

I remember my 1st Squizzer, it came close enough to almost suck on the silencer

And that was after I'd shot and missed the lil fecker.
