Robert morrison 15
He is still a pup robert some mature quicker than others. 9 months is no age have patience. i know wat u mean mate some days he seems mature then other days he just blanks me and the pup is bk lol that's why a thought a couple a kills would maybe make him want to hunt Quote Link to post
Haggis81 147
dont rush, rushing is best way to waste a dog, trust me I have done it! just make sure its retreving and recall is sound, it will be good age for graft nest season 2 Quote Link to post

banjo14 49
the dog in my avatar didnt have a bunny untill he was 14 months old let him be a pup and carry on with his training. let him grow up in his own time you will end up with a much better dog. Quote Link to post

courseadog 231
I would wait a bit more But you want a kill this season Trouble is when he's ready there will be no easy rabbits left Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
Whats the rush fellah... He's only 9 months old, Id be thinking easy green rabbits next season no, You wont do him any harm by holding him back just that little bit, But do too much too soon and you could imprint bad habits in him before he's even started...
