A bloody good rip off for the uninitiated, they are only £ 135 brand new from Blackpool Air Rifles with the standard warranty and excellent after sales.

Sherlock... No rip off was intended. I look on gunstar and get an average second hand price off of there. I bought this rifle from Wiltshire rod and gun second hand for considerably more...

Instead of publicly making out I am looking to "rip off" people you could have in boxed me and I would of reviewed my listing...

If BAR are selling for that price good on them, I'll check to see after posting this and decide wether or not its worth while keeping hold of it instead of selling for a lot less than what I thought (and bought it for) was worth.

Thanks for the info, but as mentioned, perhaps practice a little diplomacy, give the benefit of the doubt or I'd even go as far as saying show a little respect to fellow forum members.

BAR do indeed sell the hw25 for 135 brand new.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the hw25 and the HW25L if any?

I was showing respect for fellow members by pointing out that the said gun was well over priced, of course you would have liked me to have pointed this out quietly by PM but this would not have notified other members. I did show you respect by not using foul and abusive language which would have been appropriate.

Understandable of course that you'd look out for other members wallets, had I known the true value I would not have listed this as such but would have welcomed a private message not to keep it quiet but as a courtesy.

Though what's done is done, and I know to do a little more digging in future.
