porkycrook 466
Adam i had to go onto the malts last night, only as a painkiller you know. Works wonders if used along side the morphine that i'm taking, sends me to a happy and contented place. If you put your gun down for a while and put your hand in your pocket to buy a round, you will see how Webby and i enjoy a bit of malt lol. Maybe you can buy next time lol. 1 Quote Link to post

porkycrook 466
Roy i haven't tried that one as yet but i think i will have too. I see that it's not a peat heavy whiskey which is good because i can't take to one that is to peaty. Whats your feedback on it Roy. Quote Link to post
Roy Williamson 15
I usually get the cheaper rocks or waves editions, usually on special offer in asda for about £29. It is 45% but smooth and mellow. Some of those special editions look a bit tasty, but £700 a bottle................ I do like a nice bourbon as well, got some makers mark from costco for christmas, think it was about £20. Think I have a bottle of bells in the corner for anyone who asks for lemmo in it Quote Link to post
porkycrook 466
When i was in work and i had a bad day at work, i would phone the wife to tell her to put a bottle of bells in the fridge along with lemonade. Then when i got in i would grab a pint glass and put 50/50, and depends how bad it was to if i spoke before downing it. Malts are for me and special ones. Sounds like you and me are from the same cloth. 1 Quote Link to post
Roy Williamson 15
Was wondering what it was you did that needed a pint of whiskey and lemmo Thought My job was bad, cant get a day to myself, even been a week since I have been able to get to the gun club, looks like it may be next thursday before I can have a shoot. The upside is I finish my last night shift 6.30 thurs morning and go back on a late shift on the 2nd jan. In today 7pm to 5 am. at least I get double time on sundays. Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
I got bought a bottle of oban 15yr old single malt for my birthday, if I've known how expensive it is I'd have made it last longer lol Quite like a laphroig nowadays, sometimes with a bit of water in. good enough for winston churchill, good enough for me.. Cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
