I do not think Lamping had started up that way then THATS WHY hares used to sit out in the middle of the field, quite simple about the time, we used to start at 7am could not get materials before then, all the paving equipment was sitting down there ready to kick off,and the Lads was standing at the back of the paver having a cup of tea, one of the Lads said lets see that bitch run, (()(( you are to young to know anything about that one, ((( NEVER LAMPED A HARE IN MY LIFE, ONLY DAYTIME, RUN MY YOUNG DOGS ON SUMMER hARES TO GET THEM GOING, in those days there was Hares in almost every field, ((( before the lamping brigade wiped them out or made them very scarce, and there was snow on the Fell tops, as you looked south, from that road, my old memory box is not bad, our life style, and the freedom we had was something special, ((( liberation of the ladies, due to the birth Pill, the Mersey beat, definately, the best times that UK HAD, I used to go to the paper shop, to get a morning paper and as many 3d pieces, for the phone box, i have seen a couple of Lamp dogs worth there weight in gold and also the day time dog, the same, and Celtic won the european cup, with a home grown team,

just because it dont get talked about or seen as much dont mean it dont go on anymore the ones your talking about still got good dogs and the fens aint exactly quiet on weekends or middle of week. operstion gallileo wasnt exactly set up to give the six coppers on it a quiet life ,in fact the opposite

See to be honest with you rfyl, the love of the sport died a long time ago for these guys, I'm assuming your talking about the fen lads. I've been saying for years all they were interested in was chasing the coin. Making dvd's breeding dogs out of this line to sell onto unsuspecting fools wanting nothing more than to brag, that dog in the DVD is great grandfather to my dog phantom whisper hare slayer. That markets dried up, now you see them limited to selling dead dogs spunk. I still think they had a part in the demise of our sport.

I bet you still haven't been to the fen and witnessed the sport ,which you continue to slag off,first hand !!
