Brave men and small balls..

Recommended Posts

For years they have dictated there way of thinking. years they have been the best. years they have had the best running dogs on the planet. Conquered the big lands, flatten puss after puss.

Laughed at peoples theories, even gone as far as a threat...

ignored the inocent, bragged to the foolish. Remember if you dared to argue, they would stand together like the bags around the dog dirt bins.

They have been in books, featured in write up and bred better lines than shimano..

hahaha, watch out whats that coming over the hill is it some mither, mither. sing along... leg it, i'm off.. How many times have we mere mortals said those words. sometimes 3 a day.

No these guys havent just legged it, they have almost died... All the mouthing the back stabbing and its over in a little jib.

Theres to many police. We havent got help anymore from our lovely farmers i hear them cry. Awwwww.. These were the big guns of the coursing world. Or in there own little minds...

Most of us on here will know mither when it appears on the horizon. We move on, we use are skills to manovere. we skulk off into the distance the night the shadows.. Another day dawns another challenge rises...

These nights in shining armour can take it no longer, "my job is to important" we hear, "its not worth it" All of a sudden that full blooded love has become very thin, how fickle these lands must be....

Dogs sold, game over.................

I do not think Lamping had started up that way then THATS WHY hares used to sit out in the middle of the field, quite simple about the time, we used to start at 7am could not get materials before then

I just cannot understand your grinding, and the stabbing, of the coursing brigade, like all sports, you have the good, the bad, and the ugly, to walk the fields in daylight, without permission, todays

Good to see you again mate. You'll feel better getting that off your chest. Horses for courses, some people's jobs are more important but there are just the same amount going about their business as usual without the usual shouting from the hill tops.

See to be honest with you rfyl, the love of the sport died a long time ago for these guys, I'm assuming your talking about the fen lads. I've been saying for years all they were interested in was chasing the coin. Making dvd's breeding dogs out of this line to sell onto unsuspecting fools wanting nothing more than to brag, that dog in the DVD is great grandfather to my dog phantom whisper hare slayer. That markets dried up, now you see them limited to selling dead dogs spunk. I still think they had a part in the demise of our sport.

I just cannot understand your grinding, and the stabbing, of the coursing brigade, like all sports, you have the good, the bad, and the ugly, to walk the fields in daylight, without permission, todays Laws, well you are just putting your kneck in the hangmans noose, thats why I have a dog, and always have had a dog that could hunt off the road, or get my self in a good position and slip the dog, and see a bit of sport, so why knock your fellow dogman???? Yesterday I was down at Penrith, appealing against a speeding fine, with success, we worked on the penrith by-pass M6 1967 my dog then was a bitch rough haired, stood around 26" collie grey/deerhoundgrey, ((( Mandy)) she could H,J,K,&C, as the old saying would go, I come out of Penrith, on the old A6, down to the STONEY BECK, round about, there is a wee road of there for Calthwaite, we Paved that in 1967 45 years later still looks as good as the day we done it, but at the bottom as the road sweeps to the right, the fields on the right, she nailed a Hare in there about 7.30am and carried back to hand, 45 years back, NO MOBILE PHONES, NO COLOURED TV, NO INTERNET, BUT A MAN COULD slip his dog and course a Hare, without any threats of taking your dog, your van. and a heavy fine to boot, and all the Paving machinery, was built and manufactured in GREAT BRITAIN, AND THE COUNTRY WAS WORKING, there was work for all who wanted to work,,, and you buy a bunglow 3 bedrooms for £5,000.00 yes for five thousand pounds sterling,,, so what has gone wrong?? with this once great wee country,
