NETS 11
Did you have collar on ferret and if so what distance was it down when you lost it?Also was there any other tracks around burrow badger, fox etc.?If it was me i would fill in all the holes say bar 2 then place a live catch mink trap/rabbit trap at the two entrances with some rabbit liver etc. and see if you catch anything. Bunny Boiler 177
If you do this, make sure there is a water bottle and insulation or bedding. What you dont want is to catch your ferret and come back to find it frozen. Also, start using collars. Its just careless not to. Treat your workers well, and they will become good rabbit hunters. Atb BB Quote Link to post

STAFFORDSHIRE FERRETER 0
I would only put your Ferrets down holes where you are certain that's all thats down there. Badgers take a dislike to Ferrets. Also it is important to remember that Ferrets can get Bovine TB. This disease can be passed by contact with infected Badger urine and droplets as well as feces. Foxes also take a dislike to Ferrets, normally a good Ferret won't go near a hole with another animal in my experience, but I have heard of some that will. Quote Link to post
