There was a pic of one on here a while back. It looked exactly what you would imagine a Border x Whippet would look like. Smart little dog.

Cant for the life of me understand why this cross isnt more popular what does a bedlington bring to the table that a border doesnt,presumably the size may come down a little,but the coat would more than compensate...

A few Bedlingtons are more leggy than other terriers, so their conformation compliments the Whippet.

The cross usually has a good nose, speed to take rabbits in the open.

And will work cover, this cross has been popular for years

speed agility nose height racy frame, the border wins hands down in the coat dept. i do like borders my mate has had 4 over the last 20 odd years. Edited December 14, 2012 by darbo

ive had a wippit lakland years ago and hand on me hart that little bitch ,was special ,never lamped her just used her as you would a terrier and then there is me mates beddlington x wippit who past last year with old age was a real thing on the lamp i used 2 call it a freek of nature so my choice would be wippit x terrier day time and the beddy x wippit on the lamp

Dont get me wrong Im a big fan of beddies and beddy lurchers,the working bedlindtons we used years ago were only a shade bigger than a border,it was these I had in mind not the 16/18 tts beddies you see nowadays

Can someone stick the pic up again please, I can't find it. I thought about this cross aswell. Iv got a border thtmats quite a strong build about it and wondered what the offspring would be like put to a good size whippet or small greyhound. I think they would be handy addition to a pack.

There's been a litter for sale on preloved , or pets for homes,,, somewhere up in geordie land,,, but they are 3/4 whipp,, and the terrier bit was border lakie.

i was looking at getting one but changed my mind because i found a saluki/collie/grey bitch pup but its what people prefer n what your use your dog for thats all
