Also as a classical player. The late, great JULIAN BREAM was an incredibly gifted player. The world's greatest classical guitar and Renaissance Lute player. His performances were just beautiful to experience in music.

played abit back in the day, still pick it up now and then. ma wee cousin started playing not long after me, stuck at it and now can play anything. can listen a tune, and play it easy.

Surprised that in a guitar thread nobody has mentioned "Mr Guitar", reputedly the most recorded instrumentalist musician in the world, having worked as a session musician for Hank Williams and Elvis Presley in the early years and produced acts like the Everely Brothers, Emmylou Harris etc. when he was head of RCA records...........the man who invented the Nashville sound, ladies and gentlemen.....Mr Chester "Chet" Burton Atkins......
