You need to be pretty tough to have a jewellers in Wandsworth!!.....some f****r will be trying to knock you over 3 times a week!!

I used to work East Lane market and that was bad enough selling biscuits!!

 

Ive been racking my brains trying to think of the name of his old shop then it came to me........Punch & Jewellery....................I thought Wandsworth had gone all upmarket and trendy now.....any property with a sw18 postcode is bundles i know that much all round there Putney Bridge full of poncey restaurants.

 

f**k knows why mate, as far as I am concerned the whole place is a shithouse !!!

Don't know about crackers but there were plenty of crack whores on a Sunday morning buying their lucasade at 3 for a £1 to wash the taste of jizz out their mouth and give their body some sugar ........f*****g stinking!!

i walked into a chinky in liverpool he was sat there with some bird i knew had a qiuck chat with him that was after he had retired seemed a nice fella , i thought he digged hader than frank aswell gnash , was he a peacock man

 

No Gary was part of the Royal Oak with Terry Lawless i first met him at Broad St gym then a few years later Frank Black and George Francis brought him to the Oak he just didnt look like a fighter he was quite soft and fleshy but he could certainly bang Frank was a physically stronger man and he had a horrible jab but when his feet were planted Gary had more sting in his punches...........painful memories :D

I did indeed......and a few others Funso Banjo,Trevor Curry......and the one who hit harder than all of them was Horace Notice but he wasnt quite big enough......Horace was like a smaller version of Bruno if he,d had a bit more size to him he,d of been a top fighter in my opinion......Bruno and Mason with the big 12 ounce gloves on even if you blocked the punch they could still get you over.......it was a strong gym back then Andries,Kaylor,Watt,Pyatt,Magri,Jimmy Batten,Honeyghan,Laing when he felt like it !

I met gary once. Me and my dad went to see glenn mcrory fight at middlesbrough and who should sit near us but gary! I was only a kid but was straight over and got his autograph, its up in the attic somewhere. At the time he was my favourite fighter and i thought he was a legend. Proper gentleman who is missed.
