lampinglurcher 36
Maybe there's something I'm not getting here, how valuable can any one man's time be? How many hours has he put into it? 10k sounds like a shitload of money to pay for a guy who's meant to be on our side.. Quote Link to post
Brewman 1,192
As far as I know if he is found not guilty he shouldn't have to pay in a criminal prosecution. If its a civil prosecution its up to the judge to award the costs in any direction. If there is a fund being set up i would happily contribute to it. It's a bit iffy for the rspca to take such a stance seeing as this will cost them because they need to raise a number of times more the amount needed but then its not their money and that's probably the reasoning behind it. Me thinks they are taking the piss leaning on the small man trying scare tactics. If it fails I think it will be a once off. Quote Link to post

jack68 628
any one that has used Clive will tell you he wants the cash up front as the case progresses, plus he will only take the case if he 99% sure he will win or so i believe. good luck to your mate hope he gets the result we all no he should get, if this was a fox hunting pack that what was getting put through the courts it would be in all the hunting press asking asking for a fighting fund to pay the legal fees, as its a working class dog man they dint give a feck. if some one gets a fund going to help pay this lads fees i will chuck in £50..atb jack 4 Quote Link to post
