Mr Wilkes 3,036
tell you the truth kev it wernt that hard a shot, only about 20ft at most. it was bitterly cold today so i recon most of em must have been in their dreys.last year i pushed 6 out of one drey which surprised me. Sheffield Catapults 71
I have just noticed you are tying your pouch end with rubber Mr Wilkes, have you ever tried tying it with waxed twine instead? It makes your pouch far lighter, increasing the speed of your bands and making the chances of nasty band slap on the hands far less likely.
Mr Wilkes 3,036
The catty i sent down to you jim was done that way but i chose to use rubber this time because i thought it looked neater, i think the next bands will be done with wax thread. to save my hands.
