lurcher330 2,297 Posted December 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2012 Good to see lads keeping there dogs into old age, most get shut when they think they are past it fair play to you..atvb jack thanks mate,the thought of getting rid of him never crossed me mind,he will die with me ive got a couple of golden oldies here mate Yeah ,ive have seen yours Paulus,aren't the older dogs a plessure to work,you know where ye stand with them true mate if im going out and only need to take 1 dog its always the old dog that gets to go, over the years hes given his all on more than one occasion and would again if asked, hes not the fastests or fittest here by a country mile but he is 100% on my wave length that only comes with age and experience yeah,it is great when head out with just yourself and the old dog ,no slip,just you a lamp and the dog Quote Link to post
lurcher330 2,297 Posted December 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 12, 2012 nice old dog, and good x that dont they seem to get old quick, Bryn 5 1/2 now and is spot on day+night, but just going grey round his muzzle now, might that big timber wolf cub Buck driving poor old Bryn nuts that i got Yeah Bird it doesn't seem like it was that long since i was giving him his first jabs,and the first rabbit he got on the lamp with a perfect live to hand retrieve,(without putting any retrieving training in)I'd say Bryn is putting Buck in his place...............FOR NOW He look's in fine fettle for 11yr old..i bet he was a beast of a dog in his younger day's.. Thanks,Millet ,he was actually a bit of a runt a first that no one wanted ,but as he grew he turned into a fine dog and had his job sused before any of the others in the litter,and out of a litter of 8,,,,,5 of them stayed local he is the only one still alive,his dam was pts only a few mths ago at 16 years old Quote Link to post
