Free Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer

Hello all.

I have been contacted by the owners of one of the pups I bred this summer. They are no longer able to keep the pup and have decided that they would like it to go to a new home. They have informed me that the pup is non destructive/vocal and he has a strong working instinct - he has caught a pheasant already. He is crate trained and good with other dogs. He can be a little willful but at roughly 6 months then this is a training issue that should easily be cured.

 

They are offering this dog free to a good working home. I know this would make me worry that there was something very wrong with this dog but in this case it is a genuine case of the owners devestated that they cant keep him and want him to have a great home.

Couldn't agree more. The few I have spoken to already have had a grilling! This chap now will hopefully get a home for like at the end of this. His current owner is really upset bit circumstances change for us all on occasion so through no fault of his he is needing a new home where he will be loved and ideally worked.

Must be tough for his owners - good for them that they are putting his needs first though and have contacted you, rather than just getting rid.

 

Cracking dog for the right person though, best of luck with the rehoming, i'm dead jealous.
