First seen 'em in the Royal Court when at school. Seen 'em most other tours since. The Echo last week. The one date me an me mates from school never miss, a Madness gig, seven 45 year olds trying to re-live a miss spent youth... :whistling::icon_redface:

My all time fav nostalgic band, (well the fecking Jam won't be re-forming anytime soon..!!) :censored:

Quality, always value for money live...

Quality mate, I remember being a young kid around 78/79...... Monkey boots, docs, tonic trousers and always Madness playing.

Every young lad should see " take it or leave it"

Was chuffed to f**k when they did the Madstock come back gig, good line up that night as well with Ian Dury, Labbe sifri (spel?).......except that dick Morrisey, 40000 beer bottle all flying through the sky at once when he came on.

Managed to get ourselves in the video of that gig.

Dillon has spent a bit of time on the piss with them and says they are all cracking lads

Bet that was awesome to see them back in the day when the ska scene was in full swing.

Yep agree I would pay anything to see the original jam line up do a gig again, Weller will never let it happen

The stairs at the start of the one step beyond clip are in the Dublin Castle pub by the looks of them, a venue that Madness used to play in the early days.....it's a great place to see bands and I have had many happy nights on the piss in there when I was an angry young man !! Haha

That first gig, sagged school an went to the venue. Seen the roadies settin up, they let us in to the sound check. Woman from the Royal Court tried to feck us off as she knew we'd sagged (still in uniform!). Woody came over an said we could stay!! :boogy: Remember they sat on the edge of the stage an asked us if we were coming back later... I've never polished a pair of Air-Wear so Oxblood...!!!!

Never thought about it before but do bands still let people in to sound checks...?
