joe14 98
They will be bored in there mate, they need to get out for a run about, either round garden, kitchen or shed. You can put an hammock on the top floor, just screw 4 cup hooks and fasten them that way its easy. I built a run onto the bottom of mine, gives em loads more space. Hope this helps. 1 Quote Link to post
bunnywhacker 7
put some rotton logs in with them they spend hours trying to pull them to peices and ripping the bark of them... 1 Quote Link to post
joe14 98
I build my run onto the bottom two doors, put some hooks onto the side so the run can be pulled away from the hutch. I let them in it all day, lock them in the hutch at night. On the top floor of the hutch I made the ramp hole smaller so they had more floor space, dont know about the one you have but mine had big square cut out. Also mate put some bolts on them trays that slide out cos if they come away the ferrets will be out of the bottom. I made the hole for the bed box smaller as its too big for ferrets, keeps them warmer. Edited December 12, 2012 by joe14 1 Quote Link to post

Nice setup that my hutches are raised off the floor so I would need some sort of clever tunnel though Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I find they bore of anything after a while, so the key to keeping them occupied is to change it often. Mine go nuts when anything new goes in! I've put all sorts in with mine from time to time, plant pots, hanging basket from the roof of the court, pipes, the odd cardboard box, etc..
