Wild-Bill 500
What's the best/most common panel van used for hunting? Was thinking of buying one for small jobs at work, hunting and travelling to land in? Any ideas of which is worth a punt at. Was thinking along the lines of Astra, Berlingo, Connect or even the Kangoo? Cheers
buster gonads 862
Keep away from old Kangoos, i,v known a few go bang and the connects are thirsty, imo the berlingo takes some beating thats why i,v got one, get yourself to the comercial auctions for a bargan, the ex utility company vans are usully racked out which you wont need but they fetch good money used as they can be a £1,000 new, a side door would be handy too, atb, buster. Wild-Bill 500
Yeh Iv got the relay in a big van that's purely for work though. Berlingos seem about the best and very reasonably priced.

DeerhoundLurcherMan 997
Transit connect, wins easy. mine was great. stay away from the small frenchies and the astra is to small
Giro 2,648
I have Astra its not small what you going out with a pack of fox hounds  Loads of room Rear doors no good if you want to lamp compared to a old escort or combo.. Astra gear boxes are dodgy on newer models had to replace a bearing kit on a 07 its a common fault with vauxhall on the mireva and vectras etc.
Wild-Bill 500
I was thinking Astra 04, I thought connect would be the best. If abit thirsty only problem, then that's not to bad
Giro 2,648
I got 07 in summer for a little bit more cash but it had lower miles less than 70k and its 6 speed gear box 1.3 diesel cheap to run.. and loads of room for road kill I like the a side loading type of van but the astra dose fine for me.. buster gonads 862
The Berlingo with the old 1.9D is what you want, the 2.0ltr cdi arent as tourqey and have alot more to go wrong, keep it simple, it works, buster.
