Razor wire is far batter than barbed .......

Unless you've got something worth stealing in the garden it's the house you need to protect, no one wants the scroats in your garden but the break in to the home is the one to guard against.

 

Make sure you have a secure access to the house if possible gates fence etc, security flood lighting is cheap and effective.

 

Make sure you have good locks on all ground floor doors and windows, take a look outside think to yourself how would I look to get in and that's the point you need to strengthen, remember they don't want to get caught so have an alarm installed, if you've already got one USE IT. If the bell boxes outside look all rusty get them replaced.

 

If you can't afford an alarm just get the dummy's fitted but make sure they have the LEDs working on them like these

It's all about making them think sod that that looks too tricky next door but one don't have an alarm I will go there instead. Sad but true
