Guest norseman
just had five break ins this week at my mother's street, by pure scumbags. and got to thinking about fixing barbed or razor wire to the fence at the back of the house, as there is a laneway to the backs of the houses and the cops say thats were they are coming from. thankfully my mother's house has not been of interest to themm but its only a matter of time. so my question is razor wire better than barbed? and can i legally put this up in the uk? to be honest it'll go up anyway. Born Hunter 17,775
Trouble with any sort of wire is all a diddy has to do is chuc an old bit of carpet over it and climb/role over. Cameras (visable and hidden), yard lighting, gravel, alarms, decent fencing and good locks are all part of the deterent!

greatwhitehunter 47
the thing is with those spikes and glass you only have to throw a blanket over the top of them and then they are usless, id go for barbed wire, watch the neighboring walls aswell. mabey fit some deadlocks on the interior doors, buy some window contators aswell, they make a horrible noise when you open them up. if youve got the cash get some cctv fitted
