Floyd I was asking how old the dog was as it looked young in them pics, no hidden agenda mate.

Jai(Ideation) as a cracking wee whippet that I've seen run plenty and he has everything you'd look for in a working whippet but he'll tell you the same, he's still young.

Mally has a cracking whippet too and iworkwhippets also has a nice dog there. Plenty of whippets on here doing well, theres a thread or two with plenty of whippets on there, kc, non ped etc.

Reddawn,

would you ever breed your bitch to produce simply top class ferreting/mooching dogs or would you want your bitch to show true all rounder qualities, ie lamping and ferreting. would you have ever considered breeding her to a non sighthound type ie a terrier. i would of thought from the things you mentioned about her she would be a decent bitch to have pups off but you must have higher aims than me lol. just curious .

na pal, honestly the thought never entered me head, i just didnae think she was a good enuff bitch to want a dog off, what iv wrote may sound diffrent when you folks read it back, she was no world beater, just yer average whippet pal, an i know for a fact a good few of todays whippets could do the same or even better, if goen the chance, truth of the matter is i took the whippet to prove a point, i was left with no lurcher an a pal of pal had a few whippets, they were pooop to say the least, an it become the norm to think all whippets were crap, so i took on a bitch an put some work into her an started her on lamp an daytime an she surprised a few, but i knew they could do it all along, they just need work put into em, i dont even thinki got any pics of her either, it was a while ago an i changed comps a few times since then, but she was yer average run of mill black whippet bitch
