reddawn 2,173
sounds like yer average whippet flyod,no more no less, not being a cock but just saying what i think, an i think that dog aint nowhere near ready to breed off, i had a whippet bitch here that lamped a few nites a week for a few seasons, ended up looking like a foxing dog with the amount of stick she took while lampin an ferreting, she in a pet home noo due to age, but i dont even think she was worthy of breeding off, she done nothing i dont think most whippets could do given the chance, i think whippets should be bred off if they show summat special, far too many being bred today, an its sad to see 1 Quote Link to post

iworkwhippets 12,598
Not bragging at all here, but i must have summat special, heres why, shes from decent working stock, entered correctly, good prey drive, works all terrains, swims even in the coldest of water, never forced, enters of her own free will, never yaps when chasing quarry, excellant amongst livestock, good on recall, works with hand signalls, and in all honesty, the only time ive seen her shiver, is when we are getting ready to go out, anticipation, im out daily with her, all weathers, catch rate is good, does fur n feather, works a treat along with ferrets, very little skin damage, and believe me, she works some vicious bushes, been working dogs best part of 60 years now, and shes got it 5 Quote Link to post

Adam_Chuck 256
Personally if I was looking for a whippet iworkwhippets would be my choice seems to be a very handy dog. But as well as working ability should look at which 1 has best feet, temperment and many other credentials 1 Quote Link to post
