Real Shame

Recommended Posts

Went out to see the ferrets yesterday and my polecat jill, Nutjob, was in a bad way. So off to the vets who said that without sedating her they wouldn't be able to tell what was up, but her mouth was swollen and it looked like either a tumour or abscess. With her being an old ferret as it is, he said the likelyhood of her making a recovery was slim so the decision was made to put her down. She's caught a lot of rabbits for me over the past few years, and it's left me down to only 1 worker midway through the season.

So if anyone's got any jills for sale or that they could lend me til i'm sorted, it would be much appreciated.
