Ben Coward 19
Hi all, Looking for some advice? I have had to leave my ferret underground as she has not come out and it is not possible to dig to her. I have left her box with some food. Is there anything else I should do? Thanks, B/ Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
How comes you couldnt dig ??????? Quote Link to post
longnetter 32
Keep going back, mate. Never give up on it. Don't be tempted to use a catch-alive trap at this time of year in case the temperature drops and it freezes to death. Just keep going back, make sure the food is fresh in the box and keep calling it Quote Link to post
heritage 202
Dig you use a locator & get an accurate mark ? Block up all the holes before leaving., leave a cary box with bedding / food., put down ferret catch box's or insulated cages.......it's really all irrelevant info now so just return first thing equipped with a locator & digging tools...best of luck, Atb 1 Quote Link to post

Just keep going back, make sure the food is fresh in the box and keep calling it Got to be honest I disagree ,,,, you can cover a live trap,, with boards and even turf ,,, or even widen out the hole closest to where you think the ferret might be, and a trap there,,, again covered to protect from the weather,,, and of course there's nothing to stop you putting bedding in the trap,,, provided it doesn't impede the trigger.. Even better if you can put a few traps down 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,477
All you can do is keep going back but if shes stuck behind a rabbit she might need to eat her way out and it could be a while Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
Let's hope it ends with good news : Quote Link to post

Ben Coward 19
Thanks Folks, Couldn't dig as she is underneath an old wall. Went back this morning and she was no where to be seen. There was evidence that she had left though as stuff I had put down the hole had been moved. Will just hope she turns up.
