paulsmithy83 567
I would either put a felt roof on like said or put a real slate roof on cheap as if you do it urself. As there breeze block I wud insulate it as concrete 1 dont keep no heat in, winter be like a chiller box even with a heat lamp. Cheap to do again can get whole role of insulation stuff for £20 be enough to do them and help keep em warmer Quote Link to post

DazAllison 32
Just started a new set up mate, will be all insulated and ply lined on inside with 2 separate raised boxes each for dogs with 2 separate runs coming out the front, cheers Quote Link to post
chester 147
hilti a 4x2 round the top of the block work then frame & sheet with ply grp the roof no leaky joints will last a long time . if you sheet the inside first drop insulation in the cavity then sheet the roof save you a lot of hassle lol remember tie down strap your roof to the block work. you could strap the inside walls insulate and sheet over to retain more heat. block is porous so you need to render the outside , Edited December 13, 2012 by chester Quote Link to post
