I need the rat bait to end all rat baits.

go to tesco around 7.30-8pm and buy up the tin loafs (unsliced). bring it to your chosen spot and stake it to the ground with a threaded bar or similar. ratty will do his best to be off with it which gives you plenty of time to line up a shot. i shot 70 rats over a weekend on a local fishery to me using this method. the rats seem to forget the danger factor whilst thinking how to drag it off. hope this helps. if you need the aroma you could soak the top of the loaf in a nut oil

I've been checking the local paper and yellow pages to see if i can get somebody to teach me how to play a flute, so i can get them out in the open  .

Another company that rents some of the units on my permission have given me the ok to hunt rats in their units, as long as they are not working. So that gives me more options of a night or weekend and if the weather is rubbish then i have another place indoors to shoot :bye: .

there was a new's report donkies years back and another not so long about recording a certain female rat call, this call entails 1 female in season, she wanders about in the yard and shreils her tune, EVERY male rat in ear shot makes a B line .. she's proper randy and tries to go through the lot!

as it happens this bloke recorded it, sticks the tape in his pocket and plays it, and oooo theyre crawling over him, hundreds of!

can i find that clip? nope... if you find the guy that has that tape send me the link purlease!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(deadly serious here..)

Porky, gagging to know have you shot any yet?

Alan, yes i have shot a few from around the gatehouse. Although the shooting there is better when all the bushes have closed for winter, then i can get far enough away so the rats and squirrels relax more. At the moment i am having more sport inside the recycling depot. As we are as a family on hard times what with me not working due to knackered back and legs, we have had to drop to only having the one car. So i can now go whenever i can use the car even in the crappest of weathers because i can now park-up out of wind 'n' rain.
