Beast - i hadn't read any of the manuals prior to arrival due to other studies for work etc so was at a loss to the rest of the guys there. In fact i'd say i was the weakest link there as they had all at least been on a stalk as a minimum.

I found the hardest bit identifying the species/sex.

The rest made sense once i frantically read the books each night before the tests on the last day.

There have been people that have failed some elements and at least 2 that were thrown off the course early on (were real idiots with a bad attitude apparently)

 

Overall it was worth it for me and i loved being in the group as a novice as they were really helpful to me.

thanks for that, a lad i know failed because he said he was happy to shoot a deer target but hadnt noticed a road behind it!!!!!
