i'd say AA feild with the silencer on.. or, put up with the sinic type loud crack lol. (different silences act differently btw.)

ahhh.. after thought, a slight tweek on the tuning may well change the results.

I think the silencer stops the barrel moving up when the gun is shot so no silencer the shots are higher also I think if the baffles in the silencer if not perfect they cause some inaccuracy .So a silencer that is just a well made big empty can is the best silencer for accuracy .a bit bulky and it will still change the point of impact but tight groups. no real proof of this just my limited experience .I have had a whisper silencer I put electrical tape around the baffles 2 or 3 or 4 turns not sure but enough to hold the baffles in the center of the tube .Before the tape they floated all over the place.I also made a tighter baffle for 177 in the silencer the accuracy improved I think .I did not do any strict test to prove this but I do feel this to be correct.

Holy smoke that's a hell of a difference Gary. :icon_eek:

Question is, if you need a mod for a PCP, how do you go about testing one to find one that cures this?

Hope you resolve this one mate. I don't like the sound of this!

Best wishes Gary.

Simon
