Out with the raider

Well lads out with the raider to night but only got one at about 30 yards got a few shots off at a few more but missed well we cant all shoot like pianoman,zini, or davyt63 and my mate vislauk one was so close i could of picked it up with out shooting it but to be fare it was windy very windy up to apoint where i had to check my zero so i put up a plastic bottle first at 30 yards then at 45 and at 50 and hit it every time in a shelterd part of the field so i did the same in the wind and only hit it twice as i was not alowing for the wind once this was noted the next shot was the rabbit that i got by the way the bottle was the only thing i could find that i could use as a target and it was but in the bin when i finished along with the rabbit as when i picked it up it was blind in one eye no sine of scabs or swelling but mixe sprang to mind eny way so to be safe it was bin,d i must say i do normaly alow for wether conditions but i have a few things on my mind regarding a family member as a few members on here all redy know . i may go out tomorow and see if i can get some more so i can check if mixe is on my perm and i will let you know atvb to you all mac.

I hope you are right mole that it had recovered from mixy and its not back on our perm was not going to take the chance thow and i bin,d it i checked its other eye and it was fine apart from the big hole i had put in the side of it with a jsb 15,89 pellet atvgbmac

Cheers mate it was a cracking shot as i had to take the shot from an angle and could only see part of its head it just rolled over and kicked its leg a few times atvbmac

No lamp is over kill mate if it lights them up and you can see them wabbits and they dont run atvbmac ps i want a shot of the rimfire mate

One rabbit is better than not being out and getting something Jimmy. That hole in it's bonce looks like you hit it with a 7.62mm pellet!

THanks simon its those jsb exact jumbos 15,89 pellets they just distroy what they hit that and the rifle that raider is some peace of kit you know i love springers but i wont get rid of the raider and ill have another tx or 97 some time next year i hope you both are keeping ok and all my best wishes for xmass and the new year to the both of you ,jimmy
