Guest norseman
alright lads, i've been out on a few farms the last couple of weeks just for a nosey, and noticed a few bureys that i KNOW have maybe 3/4 rabbits in them. There was also telephone poles on top of each burey which i found in the past to interfere with my locator. do many of you guys take chances near these telephone poles/masts? im very tempted to get the ferrets in, but as its my first season i dont really want to go digging blind and risk losing ferrets. i have a small jill that might suit the job, but my hob hasnt been worked yet and i would also like to try him as he's a bit of a brute , but afraid of him killing in. would be greatful to hear your views and opinions lads thanks atb Quote Link to post

Brimmer 220
Get em done, just do them in the AM, then you have a chance to do something about it, or if like me, wait until 3 PM in December saying I should not have done that! 2 Quote Link to post

MKII i use atb my reciever just gets the signal from the masts but i still keep a collar on anyway, i done the burey on sunday (think the rabbits have moved since i'd seen them) but ferret just kept coming out, i thought it was because of the hobs first day working. but when i moved on to another burey he bolted two straight away and killed in for the last coney, very easy dig and a cracking day, all done in about an hour and half well pleased with him Quote Link to post
