Hi again all.

As you can imagine, my time is now exceptionally limited and I feel better spent on the interests of my family. The amount of responses has been flattering but alas, overwhelming. I maintain the criteria I set out a few pages back regarding questions posed, I'm finding I'm either repeating myself or that the answer just ignored if it fails to boost an ego or result in further insults, outrage and condemnation.

Mungler, Big G Wheton machine, lapin2008, and vixen to name but a few - your opinions are your own and I accept them, but please understand I, and I am sure others, are saddened and embarrassed to be associated through membership by the actions of those who insult, deride and put down others without consideration, investigation, whilst neglecting to propose and offer positive input.

Criticism is valuable and to be accepted if one is to learn.

All you have taught me is that the keyboard appears to so completely remove the human and humanity from interaction than people appear able speak and act in a manner that is completely and utterly unacceptable. If in the world you inhabit people talk and address you as you have done on this forum then it looks to be a very dark one of which I want no part.

My approach, actions, way of life etc represent just my answer in this life where we all wish to live our 'truthes' in a manner that speaks to our core and soul. I have never claimed, nor will I, that it is the answer. That is for you to discover. I can only trust that you are doing so right now and that it imparts upon you the peace and harmony we all wish for, if not, I wish you well on your path.

All I can say is my family and I were very happy, are happy, will be happy. Our shelter and life posed challenges, challenges we accepted and overcame without suffering nor perceived hardship because it allowed us so much freedom, time together, peace.

I will now retire and leave you to your forum of which I have contributed and been a part since February last year when I began writing "The Hunters Chronicles".

Irrespective of the few, I am so very grateful to the many. My critics and fans alike. I have been shown so much generosity and gained many valued and trusted friends. I will not allow the narrow minded and intolerant to taint that, I will not entertain the bitter taste some would have me soil my consciousness with.

I once owned a t-shirt with the slogan "Beware the power of stupid people in large groups". The memory and wisdom of it stays with me and makes me smile to this day. The opposite is also true. When upstanding, enlightened souls unite there is little than can hold back the tide that that positivity and energy can unleash. I urge you all to pursue the latter course. This forum has the potential to bring together those who partake of an ancient and honourable past time. By engaging in it, we benefit on so many levels physically and spiritually.

If you have not already, please see the articles I have written and I do hope you enjoy them, even if you do not agree with what I have said.

Each of us have our differences, our qualities, our strengths, our faults and our failings. These are to be celebrated and admired, the good and the bad for they are what make us and what make our lives so interesting. Not a day goes by when I do not pause, reflect and give heart felt thanks for those around me who make my life the positive and fulfilling experience it is.

Though I can at times barely believe it, my redeeming qualities simply must outweigh my weaknesses because accompanying me through these trials and tribulations are three angels. I gain strength and resolve from the recognition of this truth.

So it is that for the foreseeable future, I say to you, fare thee well and leave you with this;

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." - Henry David Thoreau.

Bless you all.

One small sentence in the middle of all that shows you for what you are, deluded, " my critics and fans alike".

Even in your swansong your still directing people to your writings looking for the attention you obviously crave.

This post needn't even have existed except for your need for people to massage your ego, you wanted to opt out of society/ratrace/normal life, call it what you will, but you sure as hell wanted every man and his dog to know you were doing it.

Mike, I admire what you tried to do. You have an ideal and you tried to make a go of it. I think the outcome was inevitable and I suspect you knew the day would come. I for one hope you try again. I've enjoyed reading The Hunter's Chronicles and think your writing style makes a refreshing change from the usual bad spelling, grammar and language most frequently encountered on this site.

If you and your family were happy with the lifestyle then who am I to criticise? If anything I'm a little jealous.

Good luck and have a merry Christmas.

Who's to say the kids are happy? Kids are happy with what they have, what ever they have because they have to be. Who's to say in 20 years time there not thinking "ffs i wish dad just had a job like a normal bloke". Thats the thing about kids, they are innocent and honourable, and deserve the best they can get. Instead it seems yours dont go to school, live in a small caravan on an area of "tidied" rough ground. Your doing them a disservice and you shouldnt be applauded for it you should be criticised.

If you want to teach them how to skin a gut a squirrel at least do it from a bloody council house.
