NEWKID 27,186
I was invited onto some land a few weeks back which was infested, it has never been hunted on before and the rabbit numbers were extreme.... Natural predators do not wipe out rabbit numbers like man can given the chance, we're greedy by nature.... The land I hunted as a kid has a sainsburys at one end and a big housing estate at the other with roads all over it, I loved taking that big bag a couple of weeks back, I also really enjoyed my morning soaking for 3 today lol..... I don't get paid for pest control and the farms I hunt on are happy enough with what we do, the rain is a far bigger threat to the crops this year, I do understand the lads who are in it as pest control have to clear the land, but missing the odd one or letting a milky doe/ young one go is not a problem for me, there's no point killing your own sport in my eyes....
