H&N FTT .22 WEIGHT ????????????????

Recommended Posts

These Lis' look much like polished-up Crossman Accupels and Premiers. Just found the lowest is 14.1 grain to a highest 15.01 grain. Is that reasonable with these pellets?

Feck Me thats as bad has the H & N 's Simon not impressed with Consistency of some pellet makers especially as they ain't cheap. :angry2: :angry2:

That's what I was thinking Daz. Seems a bit of jump by a whole grain of weight within about 50 pellets. Still, Elliott is getting some superb shooting from them in his HW77 and is that not the way it should be?!

If you read my review in my blog of pellet weights you will see that falcon accuracy plus pellets in my tin alone only deviated in weight by plus or minus 0.2 of weight and most of them being just what they say on the tin. Very light pellet as well so should be good for springers.

Not had chance to hit the range with them yet though because of work but have high hopes.

Saw a bloke at the range shooting .177 and .22 versions of the pellet straight from the tin and was getting 1 hole groups standing as well! But that may say more about the fact he is an amazing shot!

just chronoed m,y .177 95k and the daystate Lis gave 28fps variation over 20 shots straight from the tin unweighed unwashed unlubed.. the jsb exact were only 12fps over 20 shots straight from the tin unweighed unwashed unlubed... nuff said?! maybe thats why my .177 97kt hated them Li's lol, still need to try her with the jsb. :)

Ahh I don't muck about with all that weighing and washing malarkey and I do alright

As long as they group decently that's all I look for, my shaky shooting will throw it off more than any washing or weighing will make up for

There is the swarf you find in H&N FTT pellets. That's why you should at least wash these and get rid of as much of it as you can. You really can't have that in your barrel my dears. Who knows what damage leadswarf might do over time and a heavy use?
