Broken connection

As above any suggestions 54 plate transit tipper easiest way to describe it when you turn the key it's goin tic tic tic and wants to go but doesnt and then you jack it up at the front it starts and runs great put jack down it stops must be a broken wire any body had this problem ? Atb jim

Easiest way is do the wriggle test get someone to turn the ignition whilst you wriggle the wiring loom I'd start down by the starter common for the wires to rub between pump and starter and short out

yip we tried that today wriggled where the fuses are under the bonnet and it started it must be that area ? It's at garage just now he's going to try and find the problem on Monday he's baffled with it as well ill put it to him about the starter and pump if its common thanks

Just had a phone call its fixed ,the ecu thing was flucked so he's by passed it if that makes sense . Thanks again lads its such a great site for a helping hand ) atb jim

 

Fortunes for an ecu? Probably just the wiring or pin connected tension?

Probably would be expensive but it's fixed now he by passed it just means I don't have an emobilizer but I can live with that needin it back on the road as got a couple of jobs to do before Xmas it wont give me any problems now ? Rossi boy )
