johnny 777 53
Don't need to prove myself to you or anybody for that matter. Never said I had the experience as far as digging work but It isn't rocket science. This is a open debate and I will have my opinion as you do and anybody else who wishes to join in. If you think plummers are second best that is your opinion and your choice it's not mine Quote Link to post
jamie mc 168
You where the one who started the debate and if someone said my dog was shit i would want to prove them wrong. Quote Link to post
swag 54
Digging isn't rocket science, no but it is a skill that you can achieve only with years of experience, field craft, dog and quarry welfare, being the bench man for you subterrainian warrier, learning what you can so you have enough knowledge to judge what is going on, what those bumps and bays mean, your general lack of respect for this sport just about sums you up mate, good luck with your dogs , I think their going to need it 2 Quote Link to post
johnny 777 53
I respect all working terriers and the people who work them what ever quarry they pursue so don't make it out that I don't. I have a passion for ratting, bushing etc... Which my dogs have excelled in. my dogs are well looked after doing just fine Quote Link to post

I just don't understand why I haven't had any PMs... Foxdropper and myself are sorted and certainly do not need some half baked fool to get involved in a situation you already admit you have no experience of,if you're after a free day out "billy no mates" stick to the wanteds in the hunting section,it turns out F.D. and me are more similar than we thought just work different dogs,WM Got that message loud and clear. I won't be bothering you again. Quote Link to post

Is all this falling out with the folk on here getting to you fella?? He made a genuine offer to you, he didn't laugh at you like alot have on this thread.. Id say the lad has done more than enough to know what he's doing & has dug with a few decent lads off the site, may be just may be he's one of the very few that doesnt blow smoke up there own arses!!! Maybe you've just been around Plummer owners too long you fanny!! Cheers for the boost ali, its just as well I've got broad shoulders. You would have thought that someone who is only interested in legal terrier work as a job might be a bit more welcoming to newcomers? Never mind, onwards and upwards. 5 Quote Link to post
tinytiger 849
id say plummers have as much breay/buck breeding in them as all but a few lines of patterdales(look upplummers thistle),some of them have inherited the desirable genes and some havent-same as any strain of dog.I think the problem with them was the over use of certain studdogs some of whom were curs Edited December 17, 2012 by tinytiger 2 Quote Link to post
