hillbilly boy 109
Yeah better safe than sorry for what the jab costs to the cost of buying a new pup and time bringing on Quote Link to post
alimac 882
All the dogs iv owned or worked with get there first jabs and that's it & touch wood they have never had a problem, spend a hour or two on the net & look into the studies etc.. The yearly jab is just to line your vets pocket with yet a few more quid.. 6 Quote Link to post
johnny 777 53
Thanks hillbilly, totally agree. It just isn't worth putting your dog through the suffering in the long run, ATB Quote Link to post
hillbilly boy 109
No probs mate I pay it even if its just for peace of mind it's worth it to me. Atb Quote Link to post
johnny 777 53
Alimac it has been proving that these jabs do work. Farmers vaccinate there cattle for such diseases. So is it worth it for a small fee ? 1 Quote Link to post
alimac 882
Yes they do work that's why there's no need to do it year after year after year.. So yes it is worth paying for one but only badly informed folk who won't spend a bit of time researching the subject your discussing will be daft enough to do it yearly ;-) 3 Quote Link to post
hillbilly boy 109
Well me personally I don't mind paying out every year it don't break the bank and for my peace of mind I think it's worth it Quote Link to post
alimac 882
Fair play fella, only your mrs can tell you what to do with your money, lol, but honestly when you've a bit of spare time look it up on the net.. Quote Link to post

A good mate of mine that owned a well known Lakeland 20 odd years ago that was machine at working died at the age of 7 after a poxy days ratting during the summer ... It's the only jab I give my dogs every year without fail ... That terriers death was a massive shame to the terrier gene pool ......... 1 Quote Link to post
johnny 777 53
I have done the research. I for one do not want to risk loosing my dogs for a small yearly fee. ATB 2 Quote Link to post
