Dan McDonough 560
I wouldn't have believed it if someone had told me about it. I would have thought there was a mistake but I was looking through the National Open Field Coursing Association's website and I clicked on the race results page and there was a list of the top ten dogs for the 2011-2012 season. 3rd, 4th and 8th place (For The Year!) were whippets! I'm new to this game so maybe this is normal...I don't know. My impression is that whippets would not be able to compete with GH's and Salukis. All three of these whippets are closely related. Is this as impressive as I think it is? Here is a picture of one of the three dogs: Quote Link to post

FENS FEVER 147
i love a bit of whppet in my dogs gives them heart and guts because a whippet is a harty little dog and put speed and agillity in your breed they can turn for fun and has bearinator says the breed them self are good for a few runs just that they are more injury prone because of the small build of there frame but back to bigger stronger dogs you can breed very good dogs 2 Quote Link to post
