Bull-Whippet 4
I believe its all down to personal preference... also the type of land or work you have your dog on... but no coat will prevent injury Quote Link to post
Romany 1,065
I'm looking at getting a puppy and not sure if I should get a smooth or a rough coat collie x. Any surgestion or is it just personal preferences. I just love some rough coated deerhound or Bedlington types..but, the best dogs I owned, most were smooth coated.. Quote Link to post
the big chief 3,099
i prefer rough my self but i do have smooth coated dogs to the rough dogs can hide very large wire cuts as i found that out last season so all mine get a good looking over from then on . as stated its all down to prefrence but i am a sucker for a rough coated lurcher Quote Link to post
