Jimy1971 13
Hi Guys, Just a quick question for you.My wife bought me some over-sized Flambeau wigeon decoys for my birthday and I was wondering have any of you used them? The look huge to me lol. I bought some Storm Front Teal decoys from Cabela's a while ago and they are tiny compared to them. Any advise or input would be great. Thanks in advance. remi700 99
Hi Jimmy, wouldn't worry about size. The bigger the better. The more visible they are the better they will work. Ducks dont have the same size perception that humans have. Ive seen Americans decoy geese from under huge shell decoys that are made into chairs with no problem. Jimy1971 13
Cheers mate, was also wondering would I be better off with mostly hens or drakes or an even amount of both? Edited December 6, 2012 by Jimy1971
remi700 99
Ideally all hens when they come in first and introduce more drakes to it after that as the drakes are colouring but I don't think it makes much odds. If you can get where wigeon want to be there not that fussy.
