Puppy jabs are to help build a pups resistance to distemper and parvovirus amongst other illnesses, it offers no protection agains leptospirosis, but by the time a pup is ready to enter to rat it and its immune system will be strong enough to deal with exposure, im almost blue in the face here- im sick of repeating myself!! Vets, like any clued up dog lad will tell you play on peoples emotions and arnt beyond scaremongering in search of the poundnote!

My dogs welfare is paramount but like i say after the initial puppy jabs they are completely worthless, but if you prefere them fair enough. Makes me wonder- do you give your dogs a torch, high viz vest and and hard hat for eath work? Happy hunting!
