Source a good whippet from working lines... just my opinion, or better yet go on google & do some research about different breeds for different work, land & game mate. ATB

I wouldnt get a whippet to put miles in. Loose condition easy. Running dogs don't need miles put into them, but I suppose depends how far you call miles lol

i would have to differ there ,..........whippets can go miles with ease and if you feed them the right grub , there condition shouldnt be to bad ................

but there weight does go up and down very easy ,...............plenty of fatty grub like lamb and tripe should make them run all day imo :victory:

a good lurcher should run miles no matter what cross it is, wether it during daylight hrs bside a pedal bike or at night lamping, so i think it would be down to you to pick what type you like most and try get the best out of the dog , thats all you can do :victory:

good luck finding what your after mate
