Matt3699 142
Yeah I can't either mate. It's my friend over there who is loaning me the cash as it is... I'm debating it now though. It's a 4 hour journey to Liverpool from me.... Then it's a 3.5 hours ferry.( wouldn't leave the dog in car over night) then it's 2 hours from Dublin to Wexford... The excitement has suddenly turned into 'oh shit, this is going to be a 20 hour driving round trip' Quote Link to post
Giro 2,648
Aye thats why and cause I aint taking dogs we opted to fly... would be easier to share driving and cost and still its not peanuts.. With diesel and Guiness to pay for Quote Link to post
Matt3699 142
Ahhh! I may be rescheduling for January myself. I had a puncture and it seems that my alloy is cracked as well! So might not be ready before the weekend. Maybe the 11th of January instead now. Ferry is 100 quid cheaper and it gives time to get Christmas out the way. Only trouble is the weather is so unpredictable... Don't really want to book it now and it's snowing all weekend. We need a tunnel under the Irish sea like euro tunnel! 1 Quote Link to post

Matt3699 142
Ah I beg my pardon. I must of been looking at Holyhead to Dublin because I can't seem to find the Liverpool crossings now. Well shit, I guess I better stick an extra hour on top of my journey now if I have to go Holyhead. My mistake. Quote Link to post
